Die Teller in meinem Küchenschrank, sie werden Bild für mich. Die Teller in meinem Atelier, aus dem Brennofen kommend, sie werden mehr und mehr. Der Stapel wächst. Ich will einen Turm bauen. Es sollen so viele sein, dass ein Turm aus ihnen wird. Eine Skulptur. Ich will Freund*innen zu Kaffee und Kuchen einladen. Der Turm soll schrumpfen, und wieder wachsen. Es wird gemeinsam Kuchen gegessen, der Turm wird dekonstruiert, die Teller werden benutzt, sind für den Moment einfach nur Teller, und werden dann wieder zurück an ihren ursprünglichen Platz gebracht und der Turm wird wieder Skulptur. In immer neuen Kombinationen der Ränder, die zu einem Bild verschmelzen.

Picture, sculpture.

The plates in my kitchen cabinet, they are a picture. The plates in my studio, coming from the kiln, they become more and more. The stack grows. I want to build a tower. There should be so many of them that they become a tower. A sculpture. I want to invite friends to coffee and cake. The tower should shrink and grow again. We will be eating cake together, the tower will be deconstructed, the plates will be used, will be just plates for the moment, and then, will be brought back to their initial place, and the tower will be sculpture again.
In ever new combinations of edges that merge into a picture.
